The Canapa Candle Story

Thank you for making the decision to support my small business. Canapa Candle is a small batch business specializing in using the highest quality plant based ingredients that are chemical free and safe for everyone to enjoy.

 Everything you see is handmade, hand assembled, hand poured and hand packaged. Countless hours of labour go into making a small batch of candles. I don't have a warehouse, fancy machinery or a robot to apply stickers. I do it all to design a beautiful, plant based product I can be proud of.

The idea sprung up in the summer of 2021, fast forward to countless months of testing waxes, wicks and jars I was able to develop a formula I was happy with and my first three candles were released as part of the 'Cozy Collection'. Each candle scent was designed with past memories in mind, the most special, cozy and soothing memories we all live for. You can check out the collection here.

Even though this past year has been tough, something beautiful came out of it all. I hope that Canapa Candle can inspire you to hold your loved ones close, savour the most special moments and continue to make beautiful memories.

 Want to learn more about what materials and ingredients I use? 

• I use the high quality phthalate free fragrances
• Natural plant based soy and coconut blend wax
• Lead free cotton wicks
• Glass or tin jars that can be repurposed and enjoyed
• I use eco friendly packaging by ditching boxes and packaging each candle in a soft cotton drawstring bag that can be repurposed.
• Shipping and packing materials are recycled or as eco friendly as possible.

I am always trying to grow in this space and build a brand using the most earth friendly packaging, materials and ingredients.
